Today was one of those days. Sat in a rather lengthy meeting designed to "focus" our efforts against the insurgents. It was largely a snoozer. Learned a few things, like I was probably the shortest person in the room. Other than that, the way things are going for this National Guard battalion, I'll just say this. I have nothing nice to say. So with that, have a better day than I did. 217 days 12 hours 31 minutes, and 10 seconds, but who's counting.

I am a Vietnam vet who returned to jeers, hysterical anti war rhetoric and some physical abuse. Just remember what you do now is allowing the Iraqi people to be free if they wish to accept that freedom. You are succeeding in that effort and we are all proud of you. GOD Bless you all.

I learned the same lesson, but sometimes I forget. That is one of the reasons I am grateful for the delete option on my posts!
I understand you don't don't have a delete option, but I will be praying for you and against them. That is right. I pray God will crush them. Is this a sin? No.
By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
The God of Peace will soon crush Satan under your feet.
The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
Romans 16:18c-20
If you are not a Christian, it is okay. I just want you know that I am trying to do my part to help. I have to. I feel so helpless unless I do. Thank you.

Ain't meetings the biggest waste of time?! I know I've spent waaay too many hours in meetings in the civilian world and when I was in the big green machine. The secret is timelimits and agendas or else the meeting monster will eat up endless hours. Are you sure you really want to go to Congress and sit in on those hours of meeting for the Joint select sub-committee of House Admininstration and Printing Affairs? Be careful what you wish for!

Keep the faith. Tomorrow is a new day and nothing is certain except change. Besides, I thought you wanted to go into Politics? Think of this as preparation for what lays ahead. Take care and stay safe.

Sorry to hear your work enviornment sucks so much. Hang in there! And if you can't take pride in your coworkers, take pride in what YOU are doing. :)
